Frog’s Eye View
Most frogs spend their life in the water or on the ground looking up to the sky. In photography the term frog’s eye view is used to describe the camera looking up to the subject from a low view point.
It exaggerates the height of the subject and makes the viewer feel small.
Standing close to a building looking up emphasizes the height.
It can be used to show jump height in basketball or other sports.
A low view point can make people seem taller.
In movies and TV this is often used in stories with giants or people magically shrinking or growing.
